This page is to test various hit counters.

The FBC Internet Service Provider (ISP) is currently through the Concord Telephone Company Internet division.  The operations in the past have been outsourced from CTC, but with the advent of Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL) the operations have once again been resumed within CTC.

I am currently testing the free hit counter:

WebTracker by FXWeb Technologies (www.fxweb.com)

Public access Statistics available (Main Hit Counter)

Rules for using the free WebTracker:

bulletAt any time I will not possess or use more than a single WebTracker User ID for a single site.
bulletIf I use WebTracker, I submit to the limitation that my site does not contain adult content, adult links, or paid advertisements for sites of adult content.
bulletIf I use WebTracker, I submit to the limitation that my page does not generate more than 500 views per day (pages utilizing WebTracker only).
bulletMy private password will not be revealed to the general public. This includes but is not limited to linking to my private statistic page from public html pages.

More detailed statistics are available at this location:

NOTES:
Sat. Feb. 10, 2001 1pm - WebTracker offline.. not accumulating hits or reporting stats.

Since I began testing WebTracker, our ISP has made a cgi hit counter available within their system. it is shown below:

This may be a good way to track hits on new pages.  It should work faster, since it only serves our local community.

3/23/01 - UPDATE: The VNET cgi counter does not seem to be working all of the time. I am currently testing another hit counter service at www.sitemeter.com that runs from an embedded javascript
