(Discontinued due to readability problems with some equipment.) One of the most exciting aspects of a web page is it's ability to reflect current information in an appealing way. Quite often, and particularly in churches and small organizations, webs are created and then ignored. The information becomes stale, and users find little reason to return to the site. We do not know how many visitors we are getting at our site, so we must assume that it is currently relatively low, but increasing. For this reason, we should establish a schedule for maintaining our website that involves a minimum of effort with maximum impact. This proposal is to review the content quarterly, and revise and add information as needed. If we choose to do this at the earths equinox and solstice (March, June, September, December), we can simultaneously incorporate a new look that reflects the season. Front page themes combine professionally selected color schemes and complementary styles that give us a professional look with very little effort. Front page includes the flexibility to modify colors and elements of these themes for a more unique look. The links below are samples of the seasonal changes possible by using Microsoft Front Page for the routine maintenance of our web page. Although there are restrictions on web page design imposed by Front Page, the advantages when used properly can easily compensate for the restrictions. New pages of information can easily be added and new 'themes' applied to all of the pages at your site in less than a minute. All page links and labels are generated automatically by Front Page.
