The FBC Albemarle Student Ministry exists for the purpose of journeying with students, with the hope that when they finish their time with us, they would Know God’s Story, Understand who they are in Jesus, and Live in God’s Kingdom. We seek to live into that purpose in the following ways:

Knowing God’s Story: During the Sunday School, we dedicate our time to teaching and learning the narrative arc of God’s story in scripture, and our place within that story.

Understanding our identity in Jesus: On Wednesday evenings, and through various retreats and mission experiences, we get together for a time of spiritual formation where we reflect on what it means to be “clothed with Christ,” what it means to be a child of God, and what it means to be unified together in the Holy Spirit.

Living in God’s Kingdom:  On Sunday evenings, we spend time in small groups, called “Foundation Groups,” where we discuss daily life in our society as students. We go deep together, hoping to discover what it means to live in and for the kingdom of God in our daily lives.
